This executive leadership position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of taxi operations, driving business growth, maximizing fleet performance, and delivering an exceptional experience for both drivers and passengers.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will develop and execute strategic initiatives that strengthen operational efficiency, expand market presence, enhance profitability, and position zTrip for continued success in an evolving transportation landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Leadership & Operational Oversight

• Provide strategic direction and oversight for all taxi operations within the Dulles market
• Develop and execute operational strategies that support company growth, service excellence, and profitability
• Lead multiple departments including dispatch, fleet operations, driver services, customer support, and field operations
• Establish measurable performance goals and monitor key operational metrics
• Drive a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement

Driver Network & Workforce Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop management teams and operational staff
• Support recruitment, retention, and engagement strategies for drivers and employees
• Foster a culture centered on safety, customer service, professionalism, and operational excellence
• Develop leadership talent and succession planning initiatives throughout the organization
• Promote collaboration and communication across all levels of the operation

Fleet Management & Regulatory Compliance

• Oversee fleet utilization, vehicle availability, maintenance programs, and service readiness
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations
• Strengthen safety programs and risk management initiatives across the operation
• Monitor fleet performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
• Ensure company policies and operational procedures are consistently followed

Strategic Growth & Financial Performance

• Partner with executive leadership to establish budgets, forecasts, and long-term business plans
• Analyze operational and financial data to identify opportunities for growth and improved profitability
• Develop strategies to expand market share, increase trip volume, and improve operational efficiency
• Support contract management, business development initiatives, and strategic partnerships
• Lead initiatives that drive revenue growth while maintaining exceptional service standards

Customer Experience & Service Excellence

• Champion a customer-first culture throughout the organization
• Establish service standards that enhance the passenger experience and strengthen brand loyalty
• Monitor customer satisfaction trends and implement service improvements
• Partner with operational teams to improve service delivery, response times, and reliability
• Ensure a superior experience for both passengers and drivers

Qualifications

• 7+ years of senior leadership experience in transportation, taxi operations, logistics, mobility services, fleet management, or a related industry
• Proven success leading large-scale, multi-functional operations
• Strong understanding of transportation operations, fleet management, driver relations, and regulatory compliance
• Demonstrated experience managing budgets, financial performance, and operational metrics
• Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-development skills
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management abilities
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and decision-making capabilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Results-driven mindset with a commitment to safety, service excellence, and continuous improvement
