Job Description

Salary: $62,000 - 102,000 per year Requirements:

  • We need 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong emphasis on frontend development.
  • We are looking for someone experienced in working closely with product management and UX design partners.
  • We value strong design instincts and a commitment to building pixel-perfect user interfaces.
  • We need excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
  • We require expert-level proficiency in React and TypeScript.
  • We are looking for hands-on experience with modern web application development, including Next.js, React 19, React Native, Expo, Turborepo, TanStack Query, Zustand, tRPC, Tailwind CSS, class-variance-authority, and internal design systems.
  • We value experience with animation tools such as Framer Motion and react-reanimated.
  • We expect familiarity with observability and analytics tools such as Datadog RUM, Datadog APM, Amplitude, and FullStory.
  • We prefer experience with Vitest and an understanding of component, visual, and end-to-end testing approaches.
  • We expect experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
  • We require U.S. employment eligibility, as we are not able to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
Responsibilities:
  • We lead the design, development, and deployment of modern web applications using React and TypeScript.
  • We work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define product needs and craft user experiences.
  • We build scalable, responsive, and accessible frontend architectures and component libraries.
  • We develop data-driven UI experiences, dashboards, and dynamic forms using JSON-schema or similar methods.
  • We partner with backend engineers to integrate APIs and deliver seamless end-to-end functionality.
  • We mentor engineers and help foster a strong collaborative culture across teams and engineering guilds.
  • We integrate analytics, instrumentation, and observability into frontend applications.
  • We optimize performance, scalability, and reliability across browsers and devices.
  • We participate in architecture discussions, RFCs, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
  • We establish and uphold coding standards, testing practices, and design conventions.
  • We plan, estimate, and execute deliverables while proactively identifying risks and removing blockers.
  • We communicate progress, showcase milestones to stakeholders, and incorporate feedback into iterative improvements.
