Job Title: Window Installer/Carpenter

Location: Rhode Island

Schedule: Full-time

Pay: $20-30 DOE

Overview

We’re hiring a reliable window installer/carpenter to install and replace windows and perform basic to intermediate carpentry, trim work, painting, and related tasks on residential jobs.

Responsibilities

Install and replace windows and doors.
Perform minor to intermediate framing repairs, rot repair, and structural blocking.
Complete exterior/interior trim, casing, baseboard, crown, and sill rebuilds.
Flash, insulate, caulk, and seal openings; integrate with house wrap and weather barriers.
Measure, level, and square openings per specs; read/interpret manufacturer guidelines.
Carpentry support on non-window projects as needed (e.g., siding/soffit repairs, deck/porch repairs, drywall patches, cabinetry/finish adjustments, and small remodeling tasks).
Maintain tool/equipment readiness; load/unload and stage materials.
Keep a clean, safe jobsite and communicate with customers.
Travel to jobs across the region; occasional overnights as needed.
Other tasks and carpentry-related duties as assigned to support project schedules.

Requirements

Window installation or residential carpentry experience.
Own basic hand and power tools suitable for window installation and trim/carpentry work.
Reliable work truck/van capable of transporting windows, doors, and materials.
Willing and able to travel regionally; valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Comfortable with ladders, hand/power tools, and lifting 50+ lbs.
Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and clear communication.

Nice to Have

Experience with bay/bow, egress, commercial storefront, or impact-rated units.
Familiarity with local building codes and inspection processes.
