Responsible for the collection and sealing of horse urine samples in accordance with Ohio Racing Commission.

• All duties associated with the upkeep of the test barn.
• Collection and sealing of horse urine samples
• Understand and practice Family Style Service at all times with all guest and team members.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Test barn technician shall be responsible for the collection and sealing of horse urine samples in accordance with chain of custody procedures and adhering to test barn operational procedures.
• Working hours and days are designated by the Racing Secretary in concurrence with scheduled post time.
• Must be able to stand/walk/ sit for extended periods.
• May be exposed to working in a noisy smoke/secondary smoke environment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds
• Ability to bend stoop twist reach and kneel repetitively
• Safely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipment
• Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period
• Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period
• Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment
