Job Summary
Join our dynamic security team as an Unarmed Security Guard, where your vigilance and commitment to safety will help create a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property. In this role, you will monitor premises through surveillance systems, conduct regular patrols, and respond promptly to incidents or emergencies. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure a safe, welcoming atmosphere while upholding the highest standards of security and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks
• Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the property
• Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and employees while maintaining accurate logs of entries and exits
• Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents or disturbances, utilizing conflict management skills when necessary
• Enforce property policies related to loss prevention and safety protocols
• Assist in emergency situations by providing first aid or CPR if trained, and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders when required
• Maintain detailed incident reports and security logs to document daily activities and any irregularities

Experience

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
• Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and familiarity with loss prevention techniques
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Understanding of security procedures, law enforcement protocols, and emergency response practices
• Demonstrated ability to observe details vigilantly and act decisively in high-pressure situations
