Job Description

Salary: $62,000 - 102,000 per year Requirements:

• We look for 6+ years of experience building large-scale backend or distributed systems.
• We value experience creating AI-enabled applications with LLMs, agentic workflows, RAG, or modern ML platforms.
• We expect production experience with TypeScript, Go, Python, or comparable languages.
• We need strong software engineering foundations across backend development, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and distributed architectures.
• We prefer familiarity with cloud platforms, containers, and Kubernetes.
• We value exposure to asynchronous processing, workflow engines, queues, or streaming technologies.
• We want strong problem-solving skills and comfort navigating ambiguous technical challenges.
• We look for excellent collaboration and communication skills across engineering and product partners.
• We appreciate a mindset focused on learning new technologies and advancing engineering best practices.
• Bonus points for experience building AI products in financial services or other regulated industries.
• Additional advantage for deploying production LLM or RAG systems.
• We also value familiarity with evaluation frameworks, observability, and AI safety practices.
• Contributions to open-source software or AI-related projects are a plus.
• Experience with fine-tuning, model optimization, or inference pipelines is beneficial.

• We design, build, test, and operate production-grade agentic AI applications and services.
• We help develop shared agentic AI capabilities, including agent frameworks and orchestration.
• We contribute to planning, tool use, and memory strategies.
• We build Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines.
• We integrate LLMs and inference services.
• We support evaluation, observability, and safety tooling.
• We work with senior engineers to design scalable, reliable, and maintainable distributed systems.
• We take part in technical design reviews and code reviews to raise engineering quality.
• We collaborate with Product, UX, and cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered capabilities from concept to production.
• We assess emerging AI technologies and incorporate practical improvements into our platform.
• We mentor junior engineers and help foster a collaborative engineering culture.
