Shipping Assistant

Process incoming and outgoing shipments for a photo booth rental company.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect and test incoming and outgoing items for signs of damage or malfunction.
• Package materials to be shipped out according to company protocol.
• Log incoming and outgoing materials and track rental inventory.
• Manage inventory of shipping supplies and order new items as needed.
• Accept deliveries, log them into the inventory system, charge electronics and store them properly.
• Pull items to be shipped, take test photos, clean, and prepare them for delivery. This includes packing boxes and applying proper labels.
• Keep storage room and work areas clean and organized. This includes breaking down boxes and removing trash.
• Drop off packages at UPS centers

Skills and Qualifications

For this role, you must be a detail-oriented, well-organized professional who can keep track of shipments and inventory, and assist the manager with all tasks. We prefer candidates with the following skills:

• Physical fitness
• Computer skills (Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Slack, Shopify)
• Communication skills
• Time management
• Attention to detail
• Organization skills
• Multitasking
• Past shipping/receiving experience is a plus, but not required

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Personal Vehicle
• Must be able to work on-site at Pixilated (3200 James Street, Baltimore, MD 21230)

Compensation

• Part-time (15-20 hours per week)
• $15 per hour to start
• Flexible schedule
• Pixilated will provide company laptop
