General Manager - Culver's Restaurants

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee daily operations at our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, with expertise in team management, guest service, problem solving and food safety. As a General Manager, you will lead by example, ensuring exceptional guest service, empowering team members to grow their skillsets, and maintaining a positive atmosphere in the restaurant. Your responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, food production, and customer service.
  • Oversee and optimize the restaurant’s daily operations, ensuring efficiency, aligning operations with strategic goals, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Managing, mentoring, and developing the restaurant team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to provide superior quality and customer service.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate staff to foster a positive work environment and promote professional growth.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste.
  • Understand and monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences by addressing customer feedback promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both guests and staff.  

Your qualifications:

  • 5-7+ years in a managerial role within the food industry, preferably in quick service fast food or casual dining environments or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Assistant GM or GM level experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Strong management, training, organizational, delegation and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff, customers, and vendors and resolve conflict in a professional manner.
  • Strong problem solving skills including the ability to handle challenges, think critically and find effective solutions.
  • Strong team building skills with the ability to develop and sustain a high performing team.
  • Experience in food production processes with a focus on quality assurance.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Certified from a national food safety program
  • Drivers license, valid car insurance, and reliable transportation.
