Job Title: Benefit Plan Designer
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Benefit Plan Designer to join our client to support the design, configuration, and maintenance of healthcare benefit plans within a claims environment. This role focuses on translating plan documentation into accurate system builds that ensure smooth claims processing and regulatory alignment. The ideal candidate brings deep plan design expertise and a strong understanding of healthcare benefits and coding. This is a remote, direct hire opportunity that supports ongoing operational accuracy and client satisfaction.
Compensation:
$60,000 to $70,000 base salary plus bonus
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, normal business hours
Key Responsibilities of the Benefit Plan Designer:

• Build and implement new benefit plan configurations within the claims system based on approved documentation
• Interpret complex plan documents and convert requirements into accurate system setups for new and existing groups
• Maintain and update current plan designs while identifying and resolving configuration issues
• Partner with internal teams to ensure plan accuracy, claims functionality, and compliance standards are met
• Support ongoing system improvements by applying analytical insight and plan design best practices

Qualifications and Skills for the Benefit Plan Designer:

• Five or more years of experience in healthcare plan building within a claims system environment
• Strong working knowledge of healthcare benefits, claims processing, and ICD coding standards
• Proven ability to analyze detailed plan documents and translate them into functional system designs
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a high volume, deadline driven setting
• Familiarity with VBA and claims platforms such as Javelina or GBAS preferred, with a history of stable employment
