Job Description
Are you someone who thrives on precision, loves a flawless spreadsheet, and gets a strange sense of satisfaction from finding a missing comma? If so, we want you. Our personal injury law firm is seeking a highly organized, detail-obsessed Settlement & Closing Coordinator to manage the final, critical stage of our clients' cases. You will be responsible for translating case resolutions into finalized financial packages and legal paperwork. Because this role requires navigating complex financial ledgers, lien distributions, and meticulous data entry, individuals with a background in Real Estate Closing or Title Processing tend to thrive here.
salary: $20 - $24 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 9 AM - 6 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
- Accurately input, update, and manage high volumes of financial and client data within our case management system.
- Draft, review, and finalize closing statements, release forms, and settlement distribution checksheets.
- Review medical bills, subrogation liens, and firm expenses to ensure every penny balances perfectly before checks are cut.
- Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and our finance team to ensure a seamless transition from case resolution to final payout.
- Ensure all closing paperwork strictly adheres to legal, ethical, and firm guidelines.
What We Are Looking For - An incredibly strong, borderline-obsessive attention to detail. You catch the mistakes others miss.
- 2+ years of experience in heavy data entry, legal operations, or financial documentation.
- A background in Title Insurance, Real Estate Closing, or Mortgage Processing is highly preferred and translates perfectly to this role.
- Proficiency with case management software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- The ability to maintain high productivity and accuracy while handling repetitive, detail-heavy tasks in a fast-paced environment.
