Salary Range : $55,000-65,000 USD per year
Advanced Technology and Research Corporation is seeking to fill the following permanent position with full or part time help. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in the preparation of monthly government contract invoices.
Verify posted expense reports for accuracy and policy/contract compliances
Monitor A/R aging reports and follow up with customers for collections
Contribute to the monthly and fiscal year end closing activities
Provide administrative support for billings and accounting accordingly
This role works closely with contracts, accounting, project managers, and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely billing and revenue recognition.
Role is a combination of accounting/finance. Candidate should have 1-4 years of general accounting experience, Government Contract Billing experience is preferred
- Assist with invoicing, including necessary invoicing schedules and back-up data, in Deltek Costpoint for government and commercial customers in compliance with contractual for all contract types (CPFF, FFP and T&M)
- Assist with timely submission of invoices to the Government/Prime contracts via various electronic billing systems in compliance with contract specific submission requirements.
- Review aged receivables reports and work with management to address outstanding receivable invoices.
- Process deposits & enter receipts into the system
- Assist with reconciliation of unbilled A/R balances.
- Support accounts receivable and other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: - Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as:
• Deltek Costpoint (Preferred), Unanet, SAP, etc. - Strong Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail, organized, and ability to meet timely deadlines.
- Multi-task ability and ability to work independently and with a team
