Job Description

Salary: $55,000 - 75,000 per year Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in an IT help desk, desktop support, or IT support specialist role
• Strong proficiency in Windows desktop and Microsoft 365 support
• Capability to troubleshoot common hardware, software, network, and user access issues
• Excellent customer communication skills
• Availability to work full-time, in-office in Louisville, KY
• Willingness to participate in after-hours/on-call rotations
• Ability to travel occasionally to customer locations for onsite support
• Demonstrated reliability in attendance and accountability
• Proficiency in documenting tickets and following through until resolution
• Professional demeanor and communication style
• Ability to pass a background check
• (Preferred) Experience in an MSP environment or supporting multiple business clients
• (Preferred) Familiarity with ticketing systems, RMM tools, endpoint security, or PSA platforms
• (Preferred) CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or similar technical certifications
• (Preferred) Basic understanding of firewalls, switches, wireless networks, VPNs, and Active Directory / Entra ID
• (Preferred) Experience in small to mid-sized business environments

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support for business clients, resolving issues efficiently
• Respond to customer support inquiries via phone, email, remote tools, and ticketing systems
• Troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, printers, software, email, and user-related issues
• Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint
• Manage user onboarding, offboarding, password resets, permissions, and account modifications
• Address basic network connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi, VPN, firewall, and endpoint problems
• Support various business devices and commonly used applications
• Escalate issues to engineering support when necessary
• Accurately document work within the ticketing system
• Adhere to established processes while exercising sound judgment
• Participate in after-hours/on-call support rotation as needed
• Occasionally provide onsite support at client locations when required
• Maintain a professional, customer-focused attitude consistently
