salary: $52,000 - $56,160 per year

Responsibilities
Inspection of your truck for safety prior to departure.
*Operation of a commercial size glass truck with a manual transmission, following safety standards, DOT regulations and adhering to all traffic laws.
*Handling of glass products on the truck during deliveries utilizing established safety procedures at all times.
*Utilizing the proper safety gear and procedures at all times.
*Identifying deliveries that require additional assistance and/or equipment to unload safely.
*Notifying the office when a delivery cannot be made safely so that the office can work with the customer to reschedule for a time when the required assistance and /or equipment will be available.
*Storing delivered product in the customer’s facility per their instruction.
*Coordinating with office staff regarding time of delivery. Providing estimated time of arrival for customers as requested by office staff.
*Communicating with customers and their agents regarding timing and special instructions on deliveries to job sites.
*Collecting payment from COD customers and remitting payments and delivery paperwork to office upon return to the warehouse each day.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
The essential functions of this role include:
