Analog Devices, Inc. is looking for a Biomedical Engineer PhD Intern to join our Medical Products Group. As a Biomedical Engineer Intern in ADI's medical products group, this position will be responsible for conducting a biomedical research and development to help build core competency of clinical insights for ADI's medical products. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, global team of software/hardware/system engineers, user experience designers as well as third-party stakeholders to deliver clinical-grade end medical products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop algorithms to extract clinically relevant information in disease management from various sensor signals.
  • Analyze and manage a large volume of clinical data to expand digital healthcare team's understanding in chronic disease management
  • Literature search and literature monitoring for new technology methods for monitoring of health parameters (i.e. blood pressure, lung fluids, airway obstruction, etc.)
  • Complete a stand-alone project within a 12-weeks period.
  • Define a clear problem statement for the project and complete to deliver useful insights within a 12-weeks period.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Pursuing a PhD in EE/CS or Biomedical engineering background or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experiences in data science and machine learning techniques
  • Strong signal processing background and proficiency in algorithm development
  • Solid understanding in medical physiology
  • Efficient communication and presentation skills for external stakeholders of medical professionals as well as the internal development team with various disciplines.
