Commercial Cleaning Supervisor: Full Time

Shift: Starts at 430/5 PM

Job Summary:

The primary job responsibility will be leading a small team of cleaning team members. The Supervisor ensures that all assigned custodial duties are completed to the highest standards, while fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and teamwork.

The specifics of a Supervisor role can vary greatly depending on the sector, but Supervisors duties typically include:

· Employ coaching, inspection, and accountability to drive excellence in cleaning services.

· Lead by example, assisting in cleaning tasks when necessary.

· Perform work within production time budgets and supply budgets.

· Train new cleaning team members on proper protocols and standards using a variety of approaches, including hands-on training.

· Keep equipment clean and in good operating condition.

· Follow all safety rules and participating in the company’s safety program.

· Address and resolve customer requests promptly and efficiently.

· Project a professional image and maintaining good customer and public relations.

· Adhere to company rules, policies, and operating procedures.

· Report to the Account Manager any equipment breakdowns, unsafe conditions, customer complaints, and any other problems that may occur.

Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience:

· Must be 18 or older, possess a valid driver’s license.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong service/quality attitude.

· Sense of urgency & ability to meet deadlines; self-directed.

· Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and technical skills are necessary.

· Knowledge of industry best practices is preferred.
