Now Hiring: Registered Nurse (RN) - Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)

Phaxis is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) of a busy and well-established Urology Practice in Lancaster, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN looking to grow in a fast-paced outpatient surgical environment with a consistent weekday schedule.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) setting
Assess patient needs and coordinate individualized care plans
Triage patients both in person and over the phone
Administer medications and monitor patient conditions before, during, and after procedures
Communicate treatment plans, physician instructions, and test results to patients
Prepare exam and procedure rooms while maintaining sterile technique
Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with infection control protocols
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)
Educate patients on procedures, recovery, disease prevention, and health management
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
Maintain HIPAA compliance and the highest standards of patient confidentiality and professionalism
Qualifications
Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) License
Current BLS Certification required
ACLS Certification preferred
1-2 years of clinical nursing experience required
BSN preferred
Urology and/or Ambulatory Surgery Center experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
